Pink Saturday

I don't have a lot of pink today..had to go back
 and look through my pictures.
It is time to go on a photo expedition!

Visit Ms. Beverly at:

For lots of beautiful pinks!

My pink for this week.
Zinnia from last summer.
Handpoured candle.
My family loves these..
they grab them soon as I get them poured!

Crepe Myrtle from last summer.
This is one of my favorite flowers.
I remember one that was in my grandmother's yard
when I was a child.
That is all for today.
Wishing you a
Happy Pink Saturday!
Have a great weekend.
Love,
Shirley

  5. Hello North Carolina! Had to check mapquest because I knew I had seen MT Holly when we were in NC last Fall. We spent time in Mount Airy and Boone. You appear to be less than 2 hours from Mount Airy. Close to Charlotte via I-77. We love NC, if we do move from family here in Fl, most likely it will be NC. The color of you blog and the candle just grabbed me, they are more "lilac" on my monitor and my favorite color. I know lavender color can favor either the blues "purple" notebook, jotting down pertinent info to help me get to know each and specifics on their blogs. Thank you for following me and visiting me. I think we have a lot in common, except....I love music, but simply cannot carry a tune or play an instrument. However, that does not stop me from singing my heart out in the car, with a/c on, windows rolled up here in FL or alone in the house with the CD player on. I used to start work at 7am and many morning would time it just right to see a spectacular sunrise and would sing, How Great Thou Art as my morning prayer. The days I did, went so much better. Am not retired and are more a sunset girl than sunrise, unless we are across the state at Daytona Beach where they have awesome sunrise on the beaches. Here on the Gulf Coast we have the sunsets. Blessings and hugs and so great to meet you.

  7. Happy Pink Saturday Sweetie...
A beautiful share. I love the zinnia, what a bright and vivid color. I love growing them from seeds and waiting to see what the package produces for me. They are always so hearty in the Phoenix sun.

I also love that crepe myrtle. How gorgeous that is. I imagine you enjoy it for several months at least. The shade of pinkish lavender is so gorgeous.

That soy candle has a beautiful shade of pink to it. I can smell it already. Love it.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend sweet friend. Many country hugs, Sherry
