Pink Saturday

Visit:

For lots of pinks. There is a whole world of bloggers
out there, and some amazing talent.

This is a piece of wood from my husband's parents old house.
After they passed from this life, it stood empty for several years.
When it was torn down, I saved some pieces of the wood,
and painted scenes on them for the family to keep.
They loved them.

There were many happy memories connected to that old house.
Every holiday their children, grandchildren and others would gather there,
there was always someone around the piano singing, kids playing..
Just good times.
I am glad we got to keep a few pieces..the memories are precious!

An old Tasters Choice coffee jar.
They don't make glass ones any more.

Seems life is just full of changes.

Happy Pink Saturday.
God loves you...
And so do I!
Shirley

  5. Lovely pink post - the roses are beautiful and I love that you have brought treasured memories and your beautiful artwork together to create such cherised items for family. I remember the old Taster's Choice containers - my mom had several. Thanks for such a wonderful look at times past. Happy Pink Saturday!
