DAHLIAS

It has been a very cold winter this year, and seems like I have become obsessed with plants and flowers. The Pictures of these Dahlias came from Swan Island Dahlias in Canby ,Oregon. You can order  the tubers from this company.

My Mother used to raise these, some as big as dinner plates. In the fall of the year they were really spectacular! Unfortunately they don't seem to do well in my area, so I have to depend on photographs. If you have ever visited a Dahlia Farm when they were in bloom, you have seen a little bit of Heaven!

These really do get as big as dinnerplates!
