Welcome to my small spot in the universe.
Through pictures and a few words, I hope to communicate to others the blessings we receive, even in the smallest every day things around us.

My Blessing Jar

I am always looking at Etsy,Pinterest, and other handmade and craft places.
That is where the idea for this blessing jar came from.
Mason jars are popular now, and this is a really sweet way to use them.
Every day is filled with blessings, many we do not recognize as such.
Write a blessing on a slip of paper each day.
At the end of the year, get the jar down and look back over them,
and see how you have been blessed through the year.

Start:
I spray painted the jar, and used sandpaper to distress it.
I actually messed this up...
 but I kept on going.
Adding pink roses!
Back:
Here is one I made for my friend Debbie.
The simple things in life can sometimes be good things.
And pink roses...always!
Have a great day.
Love,
Shirley

  1. That mason jar is so sweet, Shirley. I'm wondering if you painted those pink roses? They look so pretty. A Blessing Jar.....what a wonderful idea. :)
