Morning Glory

There is an old, decaying tree stump in my front yard.

Yesterday I looked out and saw a flash of color.

When I went outside and looked, there was a beautiful Morning Glory vine.

Full of blooms, and reaching out through the yard.

Isn't it wonderful that the same God that can make flowers bloom in the desert,

Raise Lazarus from the dead,

and arise from the grave,

will put a Morning glory in a yard,in the late autumn,

just to cheer one of His tired, weary children?
