Welcome to my small spot in the universe.
Through pictures and a few words, I hope to communicate to others the blessings we receive, even in the smallest every day things around us.
God is good!

The Last Season

A few weeks ago this tree was covered in bright yellow leaves..
today it is bare. Life is that way,  the seasons are short..but
we can make each day count for something.
And though the last season is bare..still it has beauty.Different
from Springtime's glorious flowers and Summer's green leaves,
But the starkness is still beautiful. And we have hope that, come Spring, it will
blossom again!
Today, let us be thankful for the years, and all the many blessings
the Lord has allowed to come our way.
God has been good.
Love,
Shirley

Thankful

Have a great day...many blessings  this Thanksgiving season.
We have so many reasons to be thankful.
Friends, family,
most of all the mercy and protection of a loving God.

Painted Ornaments

Our church visits two nursing homes on a regular basis.
I always try to give them something at Christmas, something I do personally.
The people there love to receive gifts..anything, it doesn't have to be fancy.
This year I am painting scenes on  ornaments..they are quick and easy to do,
and they are unbreakable. Sometimes even the smallest things can mean a lot,
when they are done with love.
Have a great day!
Love,
Shirley
