Golden Sunrise

A few mornings ago, I stood on my front deck and watched the sun rise.
Here the sun is just beginning to show behind the trees.

Yesterday's Wreath

 

This wreath is hanging on my front door.
The door is glass, you can see reflections from outside, so it looks like it is hanging in space.
I play around a lot with my pictures..I like this one!
I have had this wreath for many years, and hang it somewhere each Christmas.
Some traditions are worth keeping.

The Ones That Got Away!

Since we have had a few  "killing" frosts,
I thought all the roses were gone.

My friend, Teresa, had shown some of her beautiful roses on Facebook.
I took my camera and went outside..(any reason to take a picture!)

And there were a few still blooming!
Though the foliage does not look so great.

 

I brought a small bouquet inside.
Love the roses...winter or Summer!
