I really enjoy taking pictures and sharing them on my blog, and elsewhere on line.
One of life's blessings.
So I got a book and started reading about digital photography, and realized how little I actually know!
Then I started looking at many of the photo sharing sites, like SnapFish and Shutterbug, and the beautiful things that can be created with your photos.
It is mind-boggling!

Trees

 

These two huge trees have stood in my front yard for many years, providing shade for us,
and shelter for the birds and squirrels.
Due to some rot on the trunks, and dead limbs , they need to be taken down.
 A bad storm could cause them to fall on the house..or on someone else's house.
I do not want that ...but I hate to see them go.
It will be a sad day for me when it happens.

Remembering

 

My computer was down for a few days...happy it is back up...at least for now!
This old house was photographed at a nearby museum.
I posted it once again ,
because it reminds me of some of the old mountain homes I remember from my childhood.
Remembering is a good thing...for me.
