I keep posting pictures of flowers..but, I am planning to take some time and go other places and photograph other things..mainly old barns.There are several around that need their picture taken!
 I have great plans....There is just never enough time to do everything I would like to do.
Life gets in the way!

My Picture

 

The first picture is a snapshot taken by my friend Faye Heffner. She is a great photographer.
The photo was taken somewhere near Bryson City, in our beautiful North Carolina mountains.
The second is my version, and in the third it is framed.
I still have so much to learn, but I am thankful every time I am allowed to pick up a brush!
Painting is therapy for the soul.

White Blossoms

This has been a sad week for my husband. He lost his only brother to Alzheimer's disease on Saturday.
I was looking across the street at this tree in my neighbor's yard..and  the beautiful white flowers
made me realize there is hope .. that sadness only lasts for a time.
There will be a better day.
