Trees and Verses

 

 

 

I like to take pictures of bare, winter trees...against the sky.
Can't really say why...I just do.
And as a Christian, I like to add Bible verses.
I have shown these before...but here they are again, in the hot days of the summertime,
worth looking at twice, I think.
You never know , someone might be blessed by looking, and reading.

Birthday!

 

Well..today is a big day...for me.
My birthday!
Though I often wonder why the years pass so quickly , it is a good day.
I have received so many blessings.
I have seen most of my Children, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
My Great Grandchildren and their Mom came..and brought me a cake...and presents!
Received some beautiful Birthday cards...which I will keep forever.(I keep all my cards).
Had a great dinner out with my daughter Kim.
Looking forward to Church later.
The blessings go on and on...God is good!

When we stop and really look around us, every day has something special.
A beautiful, morning sky..an old container of Zinnia's..
or this little line of mushrooms marching in precision across the back yard.
We are blessed in so many ways!

Tomatoes

 

The first ripe tomatoes from the garden.
This is the first year I planted anything in the garden, so...I am right proud of these!
Hopefully there will be loads more..the vines are full of green ones..waiting to ripen.
I can see lots of sandwiches ahead!
