Nostalgia

This old chair is from an earlier year. I like old things,

so I am posting again.

I know the old has to give way to the new,

 but there is still a place in the great scheme of things for the old.

 Old rocking chairs, old roses, old barns, old people...

We all have a place!

Birds...Again

The doves.

I am not sure what this little fellow is.

We are fortunate to get to see, and hear,

all the different birds that sit on the wires in front of the house.

Most mornings we are treated to a "bird concert."

Raindrops

It has been really dry in our area of NC.
It rained a bit today, a welcome sight.
  I went outside and took some pictures of flowers and leaves with the raindrops  on them.

Everything looks more perky since the rain.
