Brave Roses

I never tire of pink roses.

Since it was getting late in the fall,I had my rose bushes cut back..they were Huge.

Trying to take over the yard.

These two decided to keep blooming.

I am glad they did.

Autumn Leaves

In these last few days of October,  I am going to post some of our beautiful
North Carolina fall color.
It rained all night and part of today.
I walked outside..in the rain... to get these pictures.
These leaves were just lying there..in the rainy yard.
Beauty is everywhere if we look with the heart.
God is everywhere...if we seek Him..with our heart.

Marigolds

We have had frost every day this week.

My Marigolds are still standing.

I plant Marigolds every year...in honor of my Dad.

They were his favorite flower.

My Dad was a Blue Ridge mountain man..and a true Christian.

Tho he left this world many years ago...

I still miss him.

Bluebirds

I sat on the porch earlier today,

 and watched the bluebirds flying from tree to tree.

We have lots of bluebirds...and they make me happy!

Bluebirds stand for happiness.
