Welcome to my small spot in the universe.
Through pictures and a few words, I hope to communicate to others the blessings we receive, even in the smallest every day things around us.
God is good!

Leaf

Since we cut the two large trees in our yard, we only have small ones.
Still, the yard is full of leaves..they fall from our neighbor's trees.
I don't mind, I like the crunchy leaves. They will disappear by Spring.
And tho brown and dry, they are beautiful in their own way.
In God's creation there is a season, and a place, for everything.

Shirley

Easter Eggs

My grandson has a great hobby...raising chickens.
Along with the ones that lay white and brown eggs, he has a few of the ones called  "Easter Egg" chickens.
They lay colored eggs!
The picture  does not do them justice, but these are pale blue and green.
They really are beautiful.
There is also one that lays pink eggs..he doesn't have that one yet.
Amazing!
Love,
Shirley

My Blog

I have been doing this blog for awhile...around six years.
In the beginning I was going to write about different things...everyday things, and happenings in my daily life.
But as time went on it turned more into pictures. And that is a good thing.
There is an old saying....".one picture is worth more than a thousand words".
So true..a picture can say things that the human mind cannot say.
The Father can speak to us in many ways, and a picture is one of His ways.
There are many great people out there in blogland, and many beautiful pictures to enjoy.
God is good!
 Bless you all!
Love,
Shirley

Sunrise from a few mornings ago.
I never tire of the beautiful sunrises the Lord allows us to see.
Have a blessed day.

Mushrooms

These mushrooms were growing in my Grandson's yard.
They kind of look like bouquets of flowers.
Blessings!

This Is The Day

Standing in my doorway admiring the last of the beautiful Fall colors.
And watching it rain.
"This is the day which the Lord has made;
We will rejoice and be glad in it."
Ps.118:24
Have a blessed day!

Shirley
