Welcome to my small spot in the universe.
Through pictures and a few words, I hope to communicate to others the blessings we receive, even in the smallest every day things around us.
God is good!

Seeds

A few seeds for my flower garden.
Zinnia's and daisies.
Old fashioned flowers...easy to grow.
My beloved sunflowers!
I started some in the house.
They are coming up, and growing taller.
Getting ready for life in my garden.
Have a happy gardening day!
Love,
Shirley

Moon

Life has been difficult for the last while, due to my husband's illness.
I haven't been posting much...but he is doing better.so back to my blog!
Which I love, by the way.
Very simple, but I get to share pictures and things of the heart in places I will never get to visit.
Sometimes a picture and a kind word goes a long way.
Wishing all who might read this a blessed day.
Love,
Shirley

Praise

We see a lot of bad things going on in the world.
The best way to overcome evil... is to praise the Lord.
The One Who created Heaven and earth.
He is worthy of all honor and praise.
And...Praise is good for the soul!
Have a blessed day.
Love, Shirley

Chickadee

Enjoying his dinner!
Since I placed feeders out, lots of birds are coming in the yard.
I love the little Chickadees.
Another blessing from Heaven!

Shirley

Nests

The Knockout roses are waking for the spring.
They are huge bushes, and very dense and full of thorns.
I had them trimmed last fall.
I was looking today and there are the remains of two bird nests in them.
There are pieces of string, lint and all kinds of twigs.

I would see birds fly out of them, but didn't know they were raising babies in there.
Hopefully, they will come again this year.
Happy birding!
Love,
Shirley

Sweet!

Is this not the sweetest thing?
He was sitting in a bush in my neighbor's yard.
All kinds of birds congregate in that bush...maybe because it is full and "bushy" and makes a good hiding place.
Sometimes I am able to get a good picture..and that makes me happy!
He looks very contented.
Love,
Shirley
