My Card

While cleaning out some "clutter", I came across this sweet little card I had painted, and put away.

Amazing, the things you find by accident.

I still make a lot of my cards, but not any hand painted ones lately.

Maybe for Christmas this year....

Happy Birds

It has rained every day for the past week, until this morning.

When I went outside, the birds in the trees all around us were singing.

They sounded so happy..I felt I needed  to get a picture.

These are not the best pictures...but you can see they are enjoying themselves.

And their songs lifted my spirits.

God is good!

There are two of these red trees in my yard.

When the sun shines on them in a certain way, they sparkle and shine.

Like Christmas in the Spring!

Almost the same scene.

What a difference a few weeks can make!

Due to my husband's disability, we are often home bound.

So I sit on the porch and take pictures of whatever is out there.

There is always something worth photographing.

Wedding Hydrangea

Weddings are beautiful, happy times.
These beautiful flowers are from my Grandson's wedding.

This is one plant.

Different shades of purple...and even green.
I will plant it outside..when the rain stops.
It has rained for the past week, and all day today.
I am not complaining..later in the summer we will need the rain.

Sunday Thoughts

White Spirea.

I have one on either side of my house.
They were planted when the house was built...50 years ago.
They have withstood all manner of bad weather..stormy,cold, heat and snow.
And they are still strong and beautiful today.
As children of God, we may do the same...if our roots are deep in Him.
The One who created the universe.

Old jars and glasses

An old jelly jar.

This will be good for my soy container candles.

They had been sitting in a box for I don't know how long.
I painted flowers on them, and gave them a new and different life.
Flowers are a good thing...anywhere, any time!
