Welcome to my small spot in the universe.
Through pictures and a few words, I hope to communicate to others the blessings we receive, even in the smallest every day things around us.
God is good!

Snowball

My friend Kaye, brought me this cutting from her snowball bush.
I am hoping it will grow big and strong.
I wanted it because my Mom , and my Grandmother, had one in their yard.
It reminds me of them, and anything that brings memories of my Mom and my Grandmother is good.
I am hoping it will look like this after it begins to bloom.
I got this picture on line...just to show the beautiful white blooms.
Have a great day.
Love,
Shirley

Red Roses

A friend sent a bouquet to our church this week.
In memory of her husband.
It was filled with these gorgeous red roses.
A fitting tribute to a wonderful man.
Blessings on all.

Birds

I am always happy to get pictures of birds.
Especially the bluebirds.
And the doves.
They like to sit on the wires in front of our house.
And make the world a better place.
Have a blessed day!

Shirley

Another Sunrise

Another sunrise from my front porch.
My husband has been down with disabilities for awhile, so it is hard to get out, and go different places to take pictures.
I see them everywhere!
But..the skies are still there, and so are the sunrises.
My camera cannot really capture the beauty of the sunrise.
God's artwork.

Shirley

Bless The Lord!

Blessing the Lord is easy when life is going well.
Not so easy in the hard times.
The Lord is good...all the time.

Shining Through!

It had been gloomy and raining all day.
Late in the evening I looked outside and saw these beautiful red clouds
Even in the storm and gloom..the sun is still there...just waiting to make itself seen!
The same goes for life.
Behind the clouds, the Son is shining, waiting to pierce through the darkness.
Look up!
Love,
Shirley
