Welcome to my small spot in the universe.
Through pictures and a few words, I hope to communicate to others the blessings we receive, even in the smallest every day things around us.
God is good!

Hibiscus

This picture was taken one sweet summer day a few years ago.
In the yard of my dearest friend.
She is in heaven now, but when I see this flower, it takes me back to that warm summer day,
And makes me think how blessed I was to have her as friend all those years.
Have a blessed day.
Love,
Shirley

Rainy Day

It rained all day yesterday.
I took this picture in the rain.
Our neighboring state, South Carolina, is having horrendous flooding.
Please say a prayer for the people...many have lost everything.
StiIl, no matter the circumstances, I praise the Lord for His goodness and mercy.
Love,
Shirley

Praise

Praise ye Him all His angels,
praise ye Him, all His hosts.
Psalm 114:2
Today is a good day to begin praising the Lord.
He is worthy .
Have a blessed Sunday.

Shirley

My Banjo

I love my banjo...and maybe the angels do too!
I learned to play old time banjo when I was a child.
My dad played, as did other family members...my older brother played fiddle.
So we spent many happy times "jamming" in our mountain farm house.
Precious memories.
Have a blessed day.
Love,
Shirley

Thursday Praise

Today's praise.
All good things come from above.
And every day our life is filled with good, and we can offer praise,
even in bad circumstances.

Shirley

October Gold

October gold!
Only for a short while each year.
The falling leaves are praising the Creator!
Happy October days.

Last Ones

They have worked hard, blooming profusely, all summer.
The rain and wind we had over weekend beat them down.
These are probably the last of the year.
Still...looking ahead, and praising the One who created them!
Love,
Shirley
