Bluebirds

There have been lots of birds in the yard since the snow melted.

I always love the bluebirds..they stand for happiness!

Robins

They stay here all year long.

Yesterday the yard was full of them...eating worms.

After the snow was gone, there was plenty for all!

There is a legend about how they got their red breasts.

When Jesus was hanging on the cross, they came and tried to fan Him with their wings... to comfort Him while He was dying.

Their breasts became stained with His blood..so they will always have red breasts in remembrance of their compassion.

Sun and Snow

Beautiful sunrise this morning.

Much better than the snow scene a few days ago.

I guess it is just human nature to talk about the weather.

Weather

The icy snow is beginning to melt. I went outside awhile ago and shoveled some in my driveway..clearing it so I can get my car out.

Our driveway is partly in shade, so it is always late melting.

Tomorrow...I will be sore!

Looking ahead to warmer weather, thankful for being kept warm and safe through  the cold and ice.

God is good!
