Daisies

I always browse through the garden section when I go to our Walmart.

This pot of daisies caught my eye, and the thought came,,"I need that".

I love daisies...the potted ones , and the wild ones growing quietly beside the road.

They may seem a simple flower...but they have a message  to all..

Simple is beautiful.

The Butterfly

I watched him for a long time.
 Flitting here and there, and all around the yard, and the neighbor's yard.

He always came back to this yellow flower.
It must have really sweet nectar.

His little friend came along too.
It was a peaceful time,sitting watching the butterflies.

Bluebirds

There are lots of bluebirds around here. I see them in the yard every day.
There are bluebird houses in the back yard, but I hadn't seen any activity around them.
Until this morning.
The bluebirds are flying around, and I assume building nests.
A welcome sight.

He is sitting on top of the backyard building.

Surveying his kingdom...and making plans for little blue babies!

Count Your Blessings

I made these Blessing jars for my daughter and a friend.

Using old Ball canning jars.

Write daily blessings down on slips of paper and slip through the slot on the lid.

On a day when you are feeling "down"

open the jar and read them.

You will be amazed  at the goodness of God.

It does the soul good to count your blessings!

Inspiration

I like to take pictures, and I like to post them , on Facebook and on my blog.
This blog doesn't have a huge amount of followers,
but people from all over the world see it.
 We live in a troubled world,and we see and hear lots of bad things,things can bring the spirit down, really low.
 Many times an inspirational picture or word from above can lift some one's spirits and brighten a dark day, and cause us to look up..to the Heavens.
We have a loving Heavenly Father who uses different ways to speak to His creation.
And..His ways are right.
