Welcome to my small spot in the universe.
Through pictures and a few words, I hope to communicate to others the blessings we receive, even in the smallest every day things around us.
God is good!

Thinking Right

Recently I read where doctors have determined that thinking pleasant thoughts
makes the brain stronger.
The Lord knew it in the beginning!
Have a blessed Sunday.

Eucalyptus and Spearmint

I make my own soy candles, for my family and friends.
I always let them cure for at least two weeks before lighting.
This is a new scent...I didn't know how it would smell.
It is a very clean and fresh scent.
I like it, and I love my candle making hobby.
My family likes it too!
Have a blessed day.
Love,
Shirley

Beautiful Blooms

The Crape myrtle trees are in bloom in our area.
This one is in my yard.
It was just a very small sprout when I planted it...44 years ago!
I never grow tired of these beautiful pink blooms.
We are so blessed.

Old and New

Honey Crisp apples.
Huge, delicious...and pricey!
This is my Mom's old antique Ball jar.
I painted and distressed the other two jars.
They are Mom's old jars too.
Precious memories...and good eating!

Shirley

Thankful

It has been awhile since I posted any thing on this blog.
Taking a bit of time to " stop and smell the roses'.
And being thankful for all the good things the Lord has allowed to come my way.
It is very hot and dry..still I love the month of July...my birthday month!
They seem to be coming more  frequently in the last few years!
Have a blessed day.
Love,
Shirley

Carefree

I watched this bird for awhile.
Every day they sit on these wires.
And on the posts.
Not worrying about electricity.
 Enjoying life!
Bird style.
Have a blessed day.

Bouquet

I have been admiring my neighbor's flowers.
Today she brought me this beautiful bouquet from her garden.
Thank you, Barbara!
