MUSIC

Music has always been part of my life .

I grew up listening to the Grand Ole Opry,

That is what mountain people did on Saturday Night!

I love the old church hymns;

Bluegrass;

Our Church has a  "picking and grinning"  on Friday nights at our fellowship hall.

We started with just a few and it has grown  quite a bit in the last 5 years. Anyone who

wants to bring their instrument and play and sing is welcome. I must say there are some very

GOOD pickers who are there most of the time. And we have been blessed with others who just

"stop in" from time to time.

As caregiver to two family members, it is always a bright spot in my week.

All kinds of instruments;

Guitars,Banjos,Fiddles, Mandolins, Dobros, Autoharps and others-Everybody has a favorite.

And even Angels play guitars!

There are many things in this world to make people happy, And to gospel, bluegrass, and old time pickers the greatest is music. Just ask any one of them!
