When The Last Leaves Fall

Tuesday was a gloomy,drizzly day.

Looking outside at the dogwood in our backyard

I was struck by what a beautiful, brilliant red it is. 

So..

Out with the camera to take pictures.

In the drizzle!

I didn't even get very wet!

It is amazing the things we do in order to take a picture,

But worth every bit of it.
