Change

I have been thinking about changes...

How things can change so much in a short time.

Like the weather.

Sunday was cold, but sunshiny. I could get out and go to church,

the store, or anywhere I wanted to go.

Monday...snow!!

Little footprints.

Probably one of my squirrels.

Our street.

Ice is on the way for tonight.

People change.
Your friend today 
might not want to be your friend tomorrow.

Life changes.
Today we might be healthy and strong,
tomorrow lying helpless in a hospital bed.

In this world of uncertain things, there is one absolute,
One thing that will not change.
The love of God for His creation, and His people.
One you can count on when the going gets hard,
When friends turn aside,
And the world says you are nothing.
One who loves you in spite of your faults.
Is that not a comforting thought?
Praise Him for He is worthy!
