Teacups and Roses

As everyone knows, I love roses.

I love teacups too.

This Royal Albert country rose is my all time favorite design.

Sadly,  I do not own any, but maybe someday!

Just wanted to show a few,

And last..this old mug.

After looking at the beautifully decorated cups and saucers,

it has no beauty at all.

Still I love and use it.

My Mother In Law gave it to me 40 years ago.

Sometimes when I would be up with my youngest baby,

 I would make myself a cup of coffee and sit and rock him.

Sometimes when I was waiting for teenagers to come home,

I would make a cup and sit and wait.

And now that I am older and the house is quiet,

 I still sometimes get up in the wee hours of the morning

and have a cup and remember other times.

And the memories make it beautiful!
