This is one of my handmade roses.
I can't resist doing things with my editing programs...
this was done in Picnic.
In my opinion, this is the prettiest rose I have ever done.
My husband is disabled, and so is my daughter, so there is
a lot of stress to contend with every day.
Having my camera, and working with pictures (and doing crafts)
is a real blessing, and good for my soul!
And I count my blessings every day.

Hi Shirley, This rose is beautiful. I know what you mean about having your camera. As I guess you know, I became late deafened at 39 and after 13 years had the cochlear implant as an aid to hear again. I am so blessed and know it, however, it will never be "normal hearing in all situations" and hearing is something we use all the time, every day. I sometimes feel like I am in a "bubble", I can see everything but not hear clearly. So I too, love my camera as a means to express myself. If you ever want to just "talk" please feel free to email me. It may take a couple days, but I promise to get back to you. Blessings.
ReplyDeleteI have a hearing problems as well, but not very extensive. I have to wear hearing aids, that really help. It took me awhile to get used to them. It is a blessing you are so talented and use what spare time you have to create such beautiful things. Your work is excellent.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!
ReplyDeleteMy PINK is inviting you to come and take a peek. Have a beautiful weekend!
