For there is hope of a tree, if it be cut down,
that it will sprout again, and the tender branch thereof will not cease.
Though the root thereof wax old in the earth,
and the stock thereof die in the ground;
Yet through the scent of water it will bud,
and bring forth boughs like a plant.
Job14:7-9
My hope is in the Lord..He holds the key to life, and death.

good Sunday to you!
ReplyDeleteHis promises are a balm. His imagery, that of a poet. We are created in the image of our awesome, comforting, creative Father... Who are we that it should be so? We are His children... MMM!

Interesting picture. Interesting scripture. We had a beautiful ficus tree freeze last winter. It was really dead so Clif cut it down almost to the ground. There was just a stump. Now a beautiful ficus busy has grown out of the stump. We're not sure how to handle it. It's supposed to be a tree, not a bush. Oh well, it's interesting. LOL
