Change

An old pickle jar...with a bit of TLC.

We might think we are stuck in a situation or a lifestyle, and there is no way out.

But through prayer and help from the Lord, the Master Artist, things can change.

And for the better.

All things are possible through Him.

Goldfinch

I love the birds and keep feeders in the yard for them to enjoy.

A few days ago I looked outside...this goldfinch was sitting in my zinnias, calmy pulling petals off and tossing them.

I thought it was cute, and took his picture to let people see this beautiful bird.
This morning I looked outside and there was a whole flock of goldfinches in my flowers,

Throwing petals every which way,and destroying the blooms.

Not so cute any more,but I still love the birds!

A Visitor

                                                                      

I grew my Zinnias on the front porch this year.

I didn't have a good place in the yard, and it is just easier to admire them

 while I am  sitting in my living room.

As this flower matures it changes colors.

A few days ago this beautiful visitor came by,

 and flitted around from flower to flower for awhile.

A peaceful time for him, and for me.

It always lifts the spirit to see a butterfly.

God is good!
