These roses were from my Daughter's Mother's day bouquet.
They had gotten real dry and faded looking. She was dreading throwing
them away (she is like that about flowers) , so I brought them home with me,
and with some technical help, I managed to get these pictures. I must say I love them!
So, if earthly technology can bring beauty from these dried flowers,
just imagine what miracles God can perform in a wasted life, or a tired broken heart.Just take all the broken pieces of your life, whatever they may be,to the Master. He has the Touch to heal, and make it all new again.
He loves you!

This Memorial Day,
Remember our armed forces, and all the ones who have shed their blood for our freedom. Let us never take freedom for granted.. earthly or spiritual, it was bought with a great price.
Have a blessed day!
Love,
Shirley

Beautiful photo and wonderful words of promise!
ReplyDeletewhat a great thought.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful analogy with the old dried flowers and how the Lord works miracles. I am like your daughter, I cannot bear to throw even the old dried flowers from a special bouquet from hubby or my kids away. I save some that I specifically dried, but I don't have a lot of room to store or display so there are always some that much go and I usually ask hubby to put them in the trash, cause I cry if I do it. He thinks it is "sweet" so he willing helps me. It is not as if I could forget the flowers, I usually take 50 or more photos of them too, hehe. Blessings.
ReplyDeleteLovely, Shirley. God does wonders, if we ask Him, then keep our eyes and ears open to notice them!
