My Old Bible

My favorite Bible.

My family gave me this Bible in 1979...40 years ago.

I have others, but this remains my favorite, though it is worn and faded.

Many places are marked, and there are possibly a few tear stains.

Often life takes a different turn than we had thought or planned,

but one thing remains certain.

God's Word remains the same, and His Word holds the key to eternal life.

An absolute in an uncertain world.

Cardinals

Monday morning flowers with cardinals on the vase.
There is a legend that when a cardinal comes around, it is a visitor from Heaven.
The Lord sends beautiful things our way...to bring joy and comfort.
All good things come from God.
Because He loves us!

The Cat

This little cat roams our neighborhood...visiting from house to house.

I don't know if she has a real home or not. I am thinking she is just a free spirit that can't be owned by anybody.

She comes to the kitchen door and stares in until I go outside and feed her.

Since she looks healthy, I am sure others are feeding her too.

The Lord cares for all His creation...even a little stray cat!

The Lord Is Good!
